The master’s thesis deals with the impact of modern technologies on the violin study process. The boom in technology in the 20th century brought changes to the field of music education as well. In the thesis, we will identify technological tools that enable students to progress easily and quickly, and indicate ways of modern study, a mixture of traditional and technology-based approaches. We will also remember the beginnings of creating the foundations of violin mastery and the world-famous violinists who contributed to it. We will define and describe the software for recording, analysing and processing audio, as well as apps for practicing, composing and sharing content. We will also highlight the advantages and challenges of using technology and try to implement it in violin lessons and practice in general. We will explore the impact of technology on the emotional side of playing and provide important starting points for its use during lessons. At the end of the master’s thesis, we will find out what kind of technology awaits us in the future and what the latest approaches to the use of software during violin studies will be. We will also ask about the input of artificial intelligence and the possibilities of developing the technical and artistic side with its help.
