The thesis focuses on the development and implementation of a mobile application
for promoting traditional Balkan restaurants. The aim of the thesis
is to improve the visibility and accessibility of authentic regional cuisine by
enabling users to search for, explore, and review traditional restaurants. The
thesis includes a review of similar digital food discovery platforms and cultural
preservation efforts. It then describes the software development process,
including the implementation of core features such as restaurant listings, filtering,
and reviews. The work concludes by presenting the achieved results,
evaluating user feedback, and offering suggestions for future enhancements.
The thesis contributes to the digital preservation of culinary heritage and
improves access to traditional dining experiences in the Balkan region.
