In this thesis we have analysed the dynamics of the Suhi Potok torrent channel in Zadnja Trenta. Using publicly available orthophotos, we analysed the changes in the channel course between 1998 and 2024. Based on high-resolution digital elevation models (0.5 × 0.5 m) created from LiDAR and photogrammetric point clouds, we analysed erosion and sediment processes between 2014 and 2024. For 2014, we used publicly available LiDAR point clouds, while for 2018, 2021 and 2024 we used photogrammetric point clouds. The most recent dataset (2024) was created by us using a DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise remotely pilot aircraft system, which we used to take aerial photographs of the study area. The results show that the torrent channel is constantly changing over time - in width, in height and in the extent of erosion and sedimentation. Over the last ten years, erosion has been the predominant process, with water removing most of the sediment. The average volume of eroded material varies between the different time periods. The methods used have proven successful as they provide a good insight into the temporal dynamics of the torrent channel.
