The first part of the thesis briefly and generally presents the technologies for implementing the protection of construction pits in areas with the presence of ground or surface water and the technology for implementing deep foundations for structures. We have focused particularly on the implementation of construction pits and deep foundations for bridge supports, whose lintel construction have, in addition to bank supports, also supports in the area of watercourses. Measures for ensuring the waterproof of construction pits during the construction are also presented. A specific example of the implementation of intermediate supports in the riverbed of a watercourse is discussed, namely at the bridge over the Krka River in Mršeča vas, which is also called the Ressel Bridge and was under construction at the time of writing the thesis. In addition to presenting the design of the structures, the technological procedure for implementing deep foundations and protecting construction pits during the construction of the central support of the bridge in the Krka River is also presented. The organization of the construction site is also presented, which in cases of any construction represents an important factor in efficient construction. Some problematic circumstances that appear during construction and the measures we took to try to control them as much as possible are also described.
