In the Master's thesis entitled “The Life and Teaching of Anton Strle in the Splendour of the Good Eucharistic Light”, the author aims to present the life of Anton Strle in relation to the Holy Eucharist. In doing so, he wants to encourage the reader to strive for a greater love towards the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist and to show the importance of this Sacrament for his life. Therefore, in the first part of the paper, we learn about the life of Anton Strle and recognise how deeply he was rooted in the Blessed Sacrament. This is also evidenced by his teaching, which is highlighted by the author below. Here we see that the teaching of the Holy Eucharist requires a balanced view, which means that, while it is open to new insights, it has its origin in the Tradition of the Church. We observe this example through the figure of Anton Strle. The author demonstrates the coherence of Anton Strle's teaching by presenting key Church documents. These documents stem from various historical periods and were issued by different popes, indicating Strle's fidelity to the Church's Magisterium. The importance of the Holy Eucharist for the life of the faithful is presented through Strle's teaching in his sermons. But the importance of the Holy Eucharist comes even more into focus with the personal example of Strle, which continues to speak to the faithful today and encourages them to strive for a deeper love and trust in the Blessed Sacrament.
