Plasma electrolytic polishing is a surface finishing process designed to improve the roughness of metallic surfaces. However, challenges arise when polishing internal surfaces, as some areas remain unpolished due to the Faraday cage effect. To address this issue, a forced flushing system was designed and tested, enabling uniform electrolyte delivery to critical areas of the workpieces. Three different systems were developed and analyzed, with the most effective one selected based on a multi-criteria analysis. The chosen system was then manufactured and experimentally tested. The results demonstrated that forced flushing enhances processing uniformity and enables more effective polishing. However, certain tests revealed issues with polishing depth, highlighting the need for further optimizations and research.
