Wild boar (Sus scrofa L.) causes a lot of damage to fields and meadows, which can be seen in the loss of agricultural crops. This thesis presents wild boar and the damage they
cause in agriculture. Damage caused by wild boars come from the loss of crops because eating and trampling. Wild boar rooting causes many problems for farmers such as loss
of fodder for farm animals. In recent decades, the wild boar has spread intensively across Slovenia and increased in numbers, which is reflected in the increased damage to the
agricultural landscape. Due to the excessive density of wild boars, the African swine fever spreads intensively, which threaths european pig farming. This thesis discuss
about impact of wild boar in agriculture. Possible solutions that could be used to reduce its damage are also presented.
