Employee satisfaction is a key success factor for any organisation, as satisfied employees contribute to greater performance and efficiency. Employee satisfaction is linked to the achievement of the organisation's objectives, and pay, working hours, the organisational climate and the reward system play an important role. Many organisations focus primarily on increasing productivity through complex techniques and cost reduction, often neglecting the basic conditions that would contribute to higher employee satisfaction. The theoretical part presents perspectives from domestic and international sources on employee satisfaction. It outlines the basic concepts and factors of employee satisfaction, forms of satisfaction, and the elements influencing it.
