For new companies that want to be successful in small and large markets, a unique and immediate recognition value is important, which can be achieved with an appropriately designed graphic corporate identity and an influential corporate brand. These two create an important initial contact between the company and the target audience. To this end, this thesis presents the theory and development of an integrated corporate identity for a SPA company in more detail.
The thesis is divided into a theoretical and an experimental part. In the theoretical part, the significance of corporate identity (CI) is explained and selected elements of CI are presented. The methods of graphic prepress are described in detail, including an explanation of the basic file formats for printing. Only by following the correct steps and settings for graphic prepress the correct production of the CI can be approached. We have also explained the colour theory, focusing on the colour parameters and the two colour modes. In the theoretical part, the properties of vector and bit graphics are also explained in detail and the importance of typography and composition is also briefly explained. The experimental part includes all the initial idea drafts, sketches, basic graphic prepress steps along with an explanation of graphic design export settings, development processes, comments and explanations on the technical aspects of building and improving the CI that allows the creation of the desired final design.
The goal of this thesis was to develop an interesting technical approach for the creation of a CI for a SPA company, considering the knowledge of graphic prepress from the theoretical work.
The aim of the thesis was to investigate the development and realisation of the entire graphic prepress process with all its steps and settings. In addition, it was about considering all the conceptual designs, comments and notes and using them together with the graphic prepress in the final production of the CI. We wanted to create a customised, unique, aesthetic and well-designed corporate identity for the company.
