Master's thesis entitled "Accordion Etudes by Corrado Rojac", presents Three Little Submerged Etudes and Three Little Speaking Etudes by the composer and accordionist Corrado Rojac. His biography is described, along with a presented catalog of all his works for the accordion. Highlighted are Influences on his composition, particularly his immersion in spectralism and its connection to the etudes. The thesis discusses the composer's objectives in writing the pieces Three Little Submerged Etudes and Three Little Speaking Etudes. Detailed analyses are provided for all six etudes, along with the didactic goals for students' development through each etude. A survey of the historical development of etudes is also presented. As etudes are compulsory material in the accordion curriculum of music schools, their treatment in the curriculum is analyzed. Additionally, presented are conclusions from interviews with renowned music school educators in Slovenia regarding the use of etudes in accordion instruction.
