In the manufacturing company in the field of metallurgical technologies, coke labeled A is currently used in the production processes. The quality of the coke is high and does not significantly vary from delivery to delivery.
Due to mainly economic reasons, the company would like to replace it and potentially substitute it with coke labeled B.
We conducted a complex analysis of both cokes, with an emphasis on calorimetric measurements. The main comparative and evaluated parameter of the cokes is the calorific value.
Based on the analyses carried out, we found that the sample from the previous delivery (sample A) is more suitable for further use, as it better meets the fuel quality requirements.
