In my paper, I will explore the cause and structure of the image, drawing on two theoretical
sources: François Jacob's The logic of life and Georges Didi-Huberman's Resemblance
through contact, to create indeterminate images of a fictional nature. My interest in the
construction of an image lies solely in the appearance and complexity of the visible structure,
which, with its capacity for transformation, disintegrates or evolves into something
completely new – indefinable and undefined. I attribute properties of the living to forms and
employ morphological methods to study their internal structure and composition. The inner
mould is the hidden structure of the living that organizes matter to produce resemblance,
which, in artistic practice, is mimicked by the process of work and its materiality – an
imprint.
