In the modern world, cooperation between countries is becoming increasingly important. The international community is constantly evolving, new threats to international peace and order, climate change and many other factors are emerging, leading to the demand for increasing adaptation, cooperation and exchange of information between individual countriesSlovenia is very often confronted with various natural and other disasters that it would not always be able to successfully cope with on its own, and it is in such cases that it is very important to have a well-woven network of cooperation with other countries in the international community through various treaties, international organisations and international bodies. In the summer of 2022 Slovenia was hit by a dry period, wich was especially dangerous in the Karst, where one of the largest fires in the history of Slovenia began on 15 july. During my thesis, I will focus on presenting international cooperation in the event of a fire as effectively as possible, what kind of assistance Slovenia has received, to what extent and to evaluate the whole event as best as possible.
