The diploma thesis covers technical and spatial solutions for the marinas. It will be divided into chapters and, where necessary, into sub-chapters. The aim of the diploma thesis is to cover as many important technical factors as possible, while simplifying everything so that even someone with no technical or maritime backround can understand it. In any marina construction, the regulations and the legislation must be taken into account, so that in the end a legal compromise can be found between the arhitectural concept and the letter of the law. The same applies to any subsequent modification, which is why the most important laws will be presented within the diploma thesis. Practical matters will be presented in the context of one of the largest and safest marinas in Croatia, Marina Punat on the Island of Krk, which has recieved various international awards for several years in a row, the latest of which was Golden Sail Award in 2022.
