In this thesis, we have made an overview and analysis of forest learning trails in the Prealpine region. Based on selected criteria, we evaluated the state of the forest learning trails in terms of their modernisation, and for the forest learning trail along the Grmada in Šmarna Gora, we also assessed its usefulness in the context of fieldwork in the 9th grade of primary school. We confirmed the assumption that most of the information and content of the forest learning trails in the selected area is collected in guides, brochures and on information boards, which require maintenance, which requires financial resources and investment. This content is available in digital form in the maPZS application, which we considered to be a good starting point for facilitating the organisation of (field) work and for adding additional digital or interactive content. For the latter, we see an opportunity in the cooperation of ZGS, which is the custodian of the vast majority of the forest learning trails, with primary schools. We have presented examples of good practice in the use of mobile phones/tablets and QR codes in outdoor education and in the use of the CŠOD mission app, which are recommendations for a well-considered integration into fieldwork.
