Due to the increasing water scarcity around the world, there has been a rise in demand for
filtration devices. One of the most promising technologies in this field is membrane
distillation, which has seen significant advancements recently, particularly in systems with
hybrid heat usage. The experimental part of this work was conducted through simulations
using a numerical model. The results are expressed in terms of the impact of membrane
thickness, solar heat flow density, and the number of stages.
