Battery management systems are a leading topic in the development of electrical devices today, as they ensure the correct and safe operation of batteries. The system has a virtual backup circuit that represents the physical battery. It is therefore necessary to select the parameters of the individual components in the backup circuit accordingly. In this thesis we will try to find out whether we can parameterize the individual components based on the results of electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. We have found that the parametrization of the equivalent circuit model is not possible at low frequencies or that chemical phenomena occur which are not well described by our model.
