The master's thesis is focused on Igor Stravinsky's life path as well as is an in-depth analysis of the role of clarinets in The Rite of Spring. In getting to know his life path, we researched the background for the creation of the work The Rite of Spring, in the context of social events and directions in the field of music. We were particularly interested in its originality. We got acquainted with the history and characteristics of individual clarinets or variations of clarinets. We researched how individual clarinets contributed to the realization of his ideas and what their role was in the work. We have also added sheet music to each described role.
