The purpose of the thesis was to design and construct equipment for a playroom in a
kindergarten, in cooperation with the company Atlas oprema, d. o. o. We made a review of Slovenian manufacturers of children's furniture for kindergartens. The conceptual design of the relaxation corner was derived from an already existing storage cabinet from the Mavrica furniture range. The relaxation corner offers children play and rest and is intended for playrooms in kindergartens. We have designed several different ergonomically designed corners that have the possibility of including didactic aids. Modeling and production of workshop drawings were made with the help of the SolidWorks software package. The individual technological stages of product manufacturing and composition were carried out in the company Vosop, Mizarstvo Primož Gorza, s. p.
