Zanimale so nas fungicidne lastnosti utekočinjenega s CCB impregniranega lesa in utekočinjenega nezaščitenega lesa.

Naslov:Use of liquefied recovered wood for wood preservation : graduation thesis - university studies
Izvleček:
Copper and boron based biocides are frequently used for wood preservation, as they are proven a very effective fungicides. The optimal liquefaction conditions for CCB impregnated wood were determined. CCB stands for biocidal product consisting of copper (Cu), chromium (Cr) and boron (B) compounds. It was stated that the presence of Cu, Cr and B in the CCB impregnated wood did not have an influence on the liquefaction process. We were interested in the fungicidal properties of liquefied CCB impregnated wood and liquefied unpreserved wood. The liquefied non-treated wood exhibited fungicidal activity and completely reduced growth of selected wood decay fungi, while the liquefied CCB impregnated wood in some cases even promoted their growth. When comparing the results of the fungicidal properties of ethylene glycol and sulfuric(VI) acid , it was found out that the influence of ethylene glycol and H2SO4 is comparable to the fungicidal performance of the liquefied wood of the highest concentration. From this result, it can be concluded, that the fungicidal properties of the liquefied wood are predominantly determined by fungicidal properties of ethylene glycol and sulfuric acid and not by liquefied wood itself.
