Lowland anthropogenic spruce forests, present an important part of Celje basin. In last decade, a sequential gradation of bark beetles has occurred several years. They have multiplied, because of changed climate conditions. Byits proliferation they have coused a considerable economic loss. In this graduation thesis we were monitoring dynamics of sanitary felling in the period 2002-2005. We studied the impact of spruce bark beetles gradation on the share of spruce in total growing stock in the studied area. We found out that the share of spruce in total growing stock has decreased.
