Digitization of work processes represents an opportunity for companies to operate more efficiently and thereby increase the satisfaction of both customers and employees. One of the most important processes that should be digitized is the management of work orders. This process is already well supported on the Slovenian market from the point of view of programs for desktop computers. On the other hand, there are not many mobile applications available that would allow field workers to enter data on a work order on the fly. Therefore, in our work, we focused on the development of such an application. We performed an analysis of existing solutions on the global market and prepared a list of their most prominent functionalities. We then captured the company's requirements, which, together with the market analysis, represented the basis for determining the final functionalities of our application. We have developed a mobile application that enables easy entry of work orders, adding tasks and assigning orders to employees. The application allows users in the field to add comments, attachments and fees. At the end of the work order, it offers the option of customer signature. All of the above is available even when there is no internet connection. The application was tested by the employees of the selected company and they were satisfied with it.
