The thesis consists of the optimization of the production cell with the aim of increasing production capacity and reducing losses. For this purpose, we used the tools and methods of lean production. During the implementation process, we focused on the target production cycle of the fan, which is determined by the technological process in the work plan. We started with 5S method, which enabled us to efficiently organize the work environment. Then we improved the system for supplying workstations with material, which contributed to a safer work environment and reduced waiting for material. An important part of the optimization was SMED method. We reduced the time of changing tools and increased the available production time. We ended up with a method of balancing operations on the production cell, with which we directly shortened the production cycle of the fan. During the implementation of all methods, we started with the meetings at the production site where we solved production problems on a daily basis and checked the effectiveness of the implemented methods. Using all the tools, we managed to significantly increase the productivity of the production cell and achieve the desired production rate, which led to improved competitiveness and better utilization of production resources.
