Izvleček
V diplomskem delu je prikazan postopek oblikovanja in izdelave namizne igre pobega. Cilji naše naloge so zajemali raziskavo trga trenutnih ponudnikov iger pobega, definiranje lastnega mnenja in postavitev smernic igre na podlagi opravljene analize, zasnovo in zbiranje idej ter izdelavo prototipa igre. V teoretičnem delu so predstavljene sobe pobega, njihov razvoj skozi zgodovino in način njihovega delovanja. V nadaljevanju so opisane še nekatere druge namizne igre skozi zgodovino, ki predstavljajo smernice pri osnovanju in razvoju iger še danes, tudi pri oblikovanju iger pobega. Nato smo opisali še načela tehnik oblikovalskega snovanja, ki so ključnega pomena izdelave igre kot tudi ostalih izdelkov. Temu sledi eksperimentalni del, kjer je bila naprej opravljena raziskava desetih iger pobega. Na podlagi tega so bile pridobljene smernice, katerimi smo dodali še lastno mnenje in presojo za izdelavo igre. V nadaljevanju je opisan razvoj namizne igre, ki vključuje izbiro teme, materialov in izbranih postopkov priprave ter izdelave igre. Tu smo vključili opise izdelave 3D modela, oblikovanja ugank in izzivov, izrisov sestavnih delov prototipa in način testiranja. Nato je predstavljen prototip, njegova vizualna podoba in vsebujoči elementi kot tudi sam potek igre. Na koncu so prikazani rezultati testiranja in kratki intervju z udeleženci.

Naslov:Design and production of escape board game

The thesis presents the process of designing and creating of an escape board game. The objectives of our study included researching the market of current escape game providers, defining our own opinion, and establishing game guidelines based on the conducted analysis, as well as designing and collecting ideas, and creating a game prototype. In the theoretical part we introduced escape rooms, their evolution through history and the way they operate. It then describes some essential board games throughout history that have made an impact on game development even today, including the design of escape games. Following that, we described the principles of design thinking techniques, which are crucial for game development, as well as any product. Next is the experimental part, where we first conducted research on 10 escape games. Based on this, guidelines were obtained, to which we added our own opinions and judgments for game creation. Further on, we describe the development of our board game, including the selection of theme, materials, and chosen preparation and production methods. Here we included descriptions of creating a 3D model, designing puzzles and challenges, creating prototype component drawings and the testing process. Then we presented the prototype, including its visual appearance with constituent elements, as well as the gameplay itself. Finally, we conducted testing and followed it with a brief interview with the participants.
