My thesis is based on the research of the theoretical field of children's drawings, the drawing area and the format. The first part of my thesis consists of a detailed presentation of the language and developmental phases of children's drawings and drawing the human figure. In the second part of the theoretical analysis, I talk about the position and format on which children draw. The third part deals with the application of theory onto examples of preschool children's drawings and the closer analysis of the effect the format has on the outcome of the drawing.
