Abstract
V tem diplomskem delu sta predstavljena zasnova in konstrukcija naprave, ki lahko zaznava, prepozna in komunicira z računalnikom s pomočjo 3D človeških gest. Diplomsko delo je izboljšava pred leti razvitega prototipa, ki pridobiva informacije iz okolja s pomočjo bližnjega električnega polja. Naprava uporablja šest gest, ki omogočajo upravljanje različnih programov na računalniku. Povezava z računalnikom je izvedena preko USB-I2C modula. V diplomskem delu je predstavljen tudi model za razpoznavo 3D gest in programska oprema, ki omogoča uporabo 3D gest v aplikacijah.

Title:System for capturing human gestures utilizing the near electric field
Abstract:
In this thesis the design and construction of a physical device that can sense, recognize, and communicate with a computer using 3D human gestures, is presented. It is an improvement of an older prototype, that extracts information from the environment by utilizing the near electric field. The device has six implemented gestures that allow background management with various programs on the computer. The connection to the computer is established via the USB-I2C module. This work also presents a 3D gesture recognition model and software that enables the use of 3D gestures in applications.
