In this master's thesis, we examined caravans, the development of new products, and the research and development department in the company Adria Mobil. We made an overview of similar models of caravan from (our) rival companies and then highlighted their advantages, disadvantages and similarities. This was followed by an ergonomics review and review of standards and materials that were used. Furniture was designed with the software SolidWorks, which allows the design of elements of varied and demanding shapes, easier construction, quick changes, elimination of errors in the design phase, improvement of material efficiency and visualization of the new Caravan Action, which includes a bed, bathroom, bathroom furniture, shower, a small kitchen/kitchenette, hanging cupboard, kitchen table and a closet for a refrigerator. We focused on designing a separate bed and dining area, bigger refrigerator, larger storage under the bed, kitchen and bathroom. After designing the new floor plan for the Action Caravan, we also made a questionnaire about it. Based on this, we analysed the degree of satisfaction with the new ground plan and evaluated the various. Based on the results, we conclude that the new floor plan for the Caravan Action has great potential, because people like the large storage space under the bed, the separate bed and dining area and the big refrigerator.
