Today, modern software is used to design prefabricated and timber-framed houses, allowing direct production based on a computer model. We have demonstrated the process of development and designing of a wooden modular living unit for Riko house d.o.o., and this thesis presents the process of obtaining all the documents necessary for the construction of the modular unit, from the architectural design and construction documentation, to drawing the joints of the elements. The structure is drawn using the computer program HSBCad for the design of the timber structures used in the prefabricated construction, which offers a universal tool for conceptual, design and shop drawings with a variety of CAD functions.
