In my BA thesis I was researching the general and subjective feel of repression through a lens of actual social events in corona crisis. Meanwhile I was also researching Gesamtkunstwerk or total work of art as a staging form, which was popularised by Wagner. It's an art piece, which combines different elements of art disciplines into one total work of art. Through visual and audio communication, the participant feels and stays engaged in the art work. In my practical segment, I tried to show my research of repression, the principles of forming social power, how a government can evoke positive, hopeful and feelings of connection, or negative, repressive feelings in a crisis, through an interactive art work that is based on uprising technology of decentralised networks.
