This final task presents a study of local – personal heating devices and the impact they have on thermal comfort. The reason for the development of local - personal heating devices lies in the desire to increase the thermal comfort of people and reduce the energy consumption of buildings. Traditional HVAC systems fail to provide thermal comfort to all of the people, while operating they are also energy consuming. This problem of heating can be solved with the advancement of science, the scientists believe that the solution lies in bringing the thermal environment closer to the body. Almost all heating systems have been found to have a positive effect on thermal comfort. They also proved themselves at lower ambient temperatures.
