This thesis includes monitoring and data analysis about the load of the milling machine at
different feed rates. The main goal was to analyze captured data at different feed rates and
compare them. When we anayzed captured data, we calculated the electric energy that was used
for this experiment, considering the load of the milling machine.
When we analyzed the data from different feed rates, we didn't get any specific conclusions, so
we continued in the way of consumption of electric energy. We figured out that the feed rate
plays a major role in the consumption of electric energy.
With this type of data analysis we can simplify the optimization of the cutting processes, cost
reduction or just get the insight on the load of the machine. Fort the continuation of the analysis,
we could get into influence of the feed rate and machine load on surface roughness.
