The master's thesis deals with how professional workers at social work centers experience the supervision process and how the supervision process is reflected in its placement.
The theoretical part includes placement of supervision in social work, presentation of the centers for social work, a more detailed definition of the supervision, development of supervision, functions, models, types, and goals of supervision, supervision process, and the definition of the reflection. However, the empirical part of the thesis consists of qualitative research carried out through interviews with professional workers at social work centers. The study was attended by six social workers from social work centers who regularly attend supervision meetings. Presented are findings, which were drawn from the answered research questions by social workers, regarding their goals in the supervision process, the main advantages of the supervision process for social workers, and the most important part of the supervision process for social workers.
