Bisexuality is a sexual orientation characterized by romantic or sexual attraction to one or more genders or sexes. In the work in question, I will focus on specific bisexual experiences such as biphobia, bisexual erasure, coming out and double discrimination. I will also research social context in which bisexuality develops. The media has a very important role in shaping society, so it is important to investigate how common bisexuality or bisexual erasure are in the media. I will also identify negative stereotypes related to bisexuality in a heteronormative society. Through the analysis of the interviews, I will observe the everyday experiences of bisexual people in relation to their sexual orientation. I will be particularly interested in how bisexual erasure and invisibility affect their identity formation and their ability to deal with the stigma associated with bisexual sexual orientation. I will also check what kind of experiences bisexuals have in heterosexual society and compare it with their experiences in the LGBTQ community.
