With the development of information and communications technology, the impact of communication and data acquisition has become even more obvious. The possibilities offered by sophisticated ICT tools allow the US Army to obtain and communicate much-needed data. These are militarily important data about the enemy's military strength, terrain, weather, etc. Accurate information enables more efficient and better strategic readiness of US Army soldiers. ICT tools enable, among other things, the much-needed communication between higher levels of decision-making and lower levels of command execution. The better the ICT tools, the faster and more efficient the communication between the soldiers themselves and the soldiers and commanders, which means faster transfer of commands and the ability to call for emergency help faster. After all, the effectiveness of ICT tools can to some extent also replace or reduce the need to use force and weapons, furthermore, the concept of information warfare was developed.
