Guest satisfaction with a destination can be understood as state or process, where comparison of previous expectations and experiences related to the destination occurs. Guests are satisfied when their previous expectations are met or exceeded. Satisfied guests normally recommend the destination to other people and they spend more money. Besides that, they are more likely to visit the destination. From destination perspective guest satisfaction is important competitive advantage.
