The master's thesis discusses the current issue of language integration of Albanian-speaking immigrant women into the local environment in Slovenska Bistrica who came from Kosovo, wishing to reunite families with their husbands. The thesis depicts the operation of an informal form of adult education, the study club Slovenski klub at the local adult education institute, within which immigrant women have learned the basics of the Slovene language and culture throughout a twenty-four-hour course. The results of the final language assessment and the questionnaire are presented, with which we gained more insight in the characteristics of the target group and their barriers regarding inclusion into the local environment.
