The thesis considers comparison between state standards and measured standards of cutting with chainsaw forest operation. We also compared costs of the work with the actual prices on the market. The measurements on the field took place GGO Novo mesto, GGE Adlešiči, cadastral unit Belčji vrh in a private forest property. The research included 150 threes in hornbeam forest stand. From the obtained data we calculated a proportion of productive vs. non-productive time, which was 54% and 46%. Recorded standards of cutting were at DBH 15 (cm) 12,55 minutes/three and at DBH 45 cm were standards 25,7min/three. Recorded standards are on average for 41 % lower than state standards. Productivity of work in time od measurements was 4,09 m3 on productive hour and 2,23 m3 on working hour. Calculated costs of cutting were 11,79 €/m3, which is two times higher than the actual price on the market (6 €/m3). From the calculations we can recap that the productivity depends on the work method and conditions on the field, while the cost calculation is quite different than the actual market prices.
