The purpose of the diploma work is to create a quality corporate identity according to the requirements of the client, Mr Stevo Vujič, who is the owner of the Tomos Museum in Koper. In the diploma work, we presented the entire process of making and designing a new modern visual image of the museum, which at the same time preserves the timelessness of Tomos.
The main goal of the production and design of the overall corporate identity of
the Tomos History Museum is a more significant museum visit from people of all generations. We would like both locals and the wider community to get to know
the museum, visit it and share stories about the factory and their products.
We also want to achieve a greater tourist visit to the museum, especially in
the summer, as many tourists come to Koper with cruise ships. Due to the new corporate identity, good presentation and the assistance of the museum, we are also striving to achieve greater visibility, as the museum itself offers a display
of something unique.
The diploma work is divided into a theoretical and experimental part with the work results. In the theoretical part, we described the fundamental artistic elements and defined the concept of corporate identity. We also discussed the individual essential graphic elements, especially the logo, typography and color.
The practical part is followed by a presentation of the Tomos factory and the design department. It displays the process of creating a new corporate identity
of the Tomos History Museum with the final results and an explanation of individual elements. In the corporate identity manual, we find a variety of promotional material: posters, flyers, leaflets, T-shirts.
