In the master's thesis, we aimed to study the project Gleda(l)išče. Gleda(l)išče is a complex project of cultural-artistic education in the field of theater, covering all together five program units. As part of the Master's thesis, we focused on the Zlata paličica online platform, the most comprehensive unit of the project. We were interested in using the platform in practice and the potential of the platform model to be used in other fields of cultural and artistic education. In the theoretical part, we have presented the fields of cultural and artistic education in the Slovenian as well as international space. We took a closer look at the development of cultural and artistic education in Slovenia and focused on the field of theater. In the empirical part, using a semi-structured interview, we obtained a view, information, and opinion on the subject of research at different levels: teacher and artist involved in the project, project leaders and coordinators for cultural and artistic education at the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Slovenia. The work of the platform in practice was examined by SWOT analysis among professionals in the field of culture and education. The discussion shows that the central part of the platform of the Zlata paličica is a catalog of recommended theater performances for children and young people from the perspective of users. The users rated the catalog as positive, its structure, the ability to search for performances by various parameters and to check the quality of the performances by a multidisciplinary committee. The analysis has shown that the online platform is not yet sufficiently recognized in the target public, and above all, users are not yet aware of all the components and potentials that the platform has. The interviews highlighted that the online platform fosters a creative partnership between art, education, and professionals in all fields. One of the essential factors for the operation of this web platform and the development of such platforms in other fields of cultural and artistic education, was the necessity of continued provision of financial resources. The results obtained are the basis for the further development of the Zlata paličica web platform and are a clear indicator, that a model of a fully designed online platform such as Zlata paličica is a suitable model for developing similar platforms in other fields of cultural and artistic education.
