Nabrani vzorci so bili v mikroskopirnici Gozdarskega inštituta Slovenije (GIS) okularno pregledani z lupo in trosišča s trosi mikroskopirana.

Naslov:Brown spot needle blight (Mycosphaerella dearnessii) on pine trees in park Tivoli
Izvleček:
In this graduation thesis was made an attempt to find brown spot needle blight of pine on the representatives of the genus pine (Pinus spp.) in Tivoli park in Ljubljana. The purpose was to confirm or deny the thesis of re presence of the fungus Mycosphaerella dearnessii in Tivoli park. In the park, the needles with symptomes of infection by the fungus Mycosphaerella dearnessii, were collected on pine trees, mostly on mountain pine. To confirm the presence of the species, samples were visiualy examined with binocular and microscopied for the fungus spores in the laboratory of Slovenian Forestry Institute. The first 4 samples were examined by the Department of Forest Protection of Slovenian Forestry Institute and in all 4 samples the presence of the fungus M. dearnessii was confirmed. In the other 9 samples the presence of the species was confirmed in 4 samples. The presence of the species was not confirmed on 2 trees of himalayan blue pine, austrian pine and on the other three groups of mountain pine bushes. On 3 samples, which were analyzed at the Department of Forest Protection of Slovenian Forestry Institute, the presence of anamorph D. septosporum was confirmed, on the other 9 samples the anamorph D. septosporum was confirmed in only 1 sample.
