This thesis presents the development and manufacture of a machine for applying adhesive coating on metal bushings at the request of the customer, who wanted to replace the manual application with an automatic method of applying the adhesive. A review of standards in the field of safe construction of machines was carried out. Following the steps foreseen by the construction methodology, we have developed the morphological matrix and the concepts using it, and based on its requirements, desires and functional structure, selected the most appropriate one. The best-evaluated concept was then further developed and with the help of the Creo software package a 3D model and related technical documentation of the machine were created. In the end, a trial run, setting up and testing of the machine, and resolving all the noticable issues are presented.
