In the diploma thesis, an interactive e-textbook on pregnancy for a client called Clinica Millet, based in Valencia, Spain, was deisgned. Based of the old static version in pdf format, a new e-textbook was created with a modern, attractive look and interactive elements. In the theoretical part concepts of interactivity were defined, the meaning of e-textbooks were described and explained and also some e-learning projects were reviewed, and software tools for the production e-textbooks were presented. In the experimental part the appropriate software was studied and applied (H5P, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop). The professional content was translated from Spanish to Slovenian language and addapted to the requirements of an interactive e-educational textbooks. The main focus of this diploma thesis was mainly on the design. A thoughtful design idea was introduced, including graphic elements, motives and the graphic language. The corporate clinic's colours in the pink and purple accents were used for the new design. Each page was customized to fit the content, and designed a unique way. Hyperlinks leading to additional information were added to the textbook, and three interactive elements: a question, a quiz and a timeline were added to the textbook. The conclusions were made based on researches and experience during the preparation of diploma thesis that the H5P working enviroment offers a variety of choices of interacttive educational elements that can be embedded in Adobe InDesign, and that it is possible to produce an interactive e-textbook with a more sophisticated design than in the case of the classical e-Learning Management Systems.
