The diploma describes the European financial Instruments for purpose of land development and spatial planning. The diploma shows up an overview of these instruments, focusing on EU regional policy instruments. They are shown in terms of their purpose and objectives, the eligibility of drawing in relation to users and the possibilities of drawing in terms of procedures and applying for a tender. In the following, we analytically evaluated the situation in Slovenia in terms of cohesion policy, absorption of funds and the visibility of the area itself. An example of Slovenian practice, which we have critically evaluated, is also presented. The end of the thesis presents the issue of EU funding, the ways and measures by which the relevant institutions encourage Slovene applicants, and the possibilities for possible improvements in this field.
