The master's thesis deals with the media of puppet theater and how it represents other media (television, film, radio) as a medium. We focus on the emergence of new technologies and how they affect new textual practices. New staging practices, however, relate to new production options - shadow theater, various animation options, video projections. We are interested in how technological development has changed writing and, above all, staging. First of all, we review current and especially domestic discussions in the field of media theory or. media literary studies in the last decade, we list the key concepts (eg mediality, intermediality), which are later applied to selected performances that appeared on the stage of the Ljubljana Puppet Theater between 2014 and 2018.
