In this diploma thesis we developed and tested a measurement system for determination of surface effect on measurment capability of a confocal optical displacement sensor. An electrodynamic shaker generates a sinusoidal oscillations of the tested surface,
which displacement is measured by the tested confocal optical displacement sensor and two reference accelerometers. In LabVIEW software programming environment we prepared for computer supported measurements. A control program that enables computer-aided measurements. The amplitude and phase frequency characteristics of the confocal optical displacment sensor were then experimentally determined.
