The thesis Designing women's CCL collection presents the process of designing a contemporary, wearable women's collection with a hint of 1920s fashion.
In the theoretical part of my thesis, I focused on the 1920s. I wanted to explore the post-war influence on the people, their lives and on the fashion of that period. I mostly focused on the fashion, clothing and the silhouettes of the 1920s women’s clothing.
In the experimental part I presented the entire process of designing the collection. By putting together different women's items of clothing from the 1920s, I created new contemporary silhouettes. I have enriched them with my original textile samples which I combined together with already woven plaid materials.
