Graphic designing is a process in which the designer transforms their customer's ideas into reality. The graphic designing process uses various computer programs for merging photos, symbols and texts to create an end product that is appealing to the customers. The paper consists of two parts. The theoretical part briefly introduces women’s fashion magazines and their development, and presents the Cosmopolitan company and their magazine Cosmopolitan. The first part also includes an interview with a Cosmopolitan editor and a magazine designer, in which we talk about their work. In the empirical part, we designed our own fashion magazine. We give a description of our designing process and emphasise some of the more challenging parts in the magazine designing process.
