Razvoj okolja za upravljanje s sistemom uravnoteženih kazalnikov v organizacijah v programih Microsoft Access in Power BI

Podjetja uspešnost poslovanja pogosto ocenjujejo le s finančnimi rezultati, pri tem pa pozabljajo, da so za uspešnost pomembni vsi procesi v podjetju. V okviru magistrskega dela sem zato izdelal uporabniško okolje, ki je v pomoč podjetjem pri načrtovanju in spremljanju uspešnosti. Pri izdelavi orodja sem izhajal iz teorije sistema uravnoteženih kazalnikov, ki poleg finančnih rezultatov upošteva tudi druge nefinančne vidike, kot so učenje in rast zaposlenih, interni procesi v podjetju in odnos do kupcev. Na podlagi raziskane literature, pregleda obstoječih orodij za upravljanje s sistemom uravnoteženih kazalnikov in viharjenja možganov v BI-enoti v podjetju B2, d.o.o., ki se ukvarja z izdelavo avtomatičnih poročil v orodju Power BI, sem definiral ključne lastnosti, ki jih uporabniško okolje mora imeti. Temu je sledila izdelava uporabniškega okolja, ki je kombinacija aplikacije, izdelane v orodju Microsoft Access, in poročila, izdelanega v orodju Power BI. Uporabniško okolje je bilo uporabljeno v BI-enoti podjetja B2, d.o.o. Na podlagi uporabe sem ugotovil, da je izdelano uporabniško okolje primerno za nadaljnjo uporabo ter je v pomoč pri načrtovanju in spremljanju poslovne uspešnosti. Obstajajo še možnosti za nadgradnje in izboljšave, prav tako bi bilo dobro, da bi raziskava trajala dalj časa in na več podjetjih, vendar to že presega obseg magistrskega dela.

Izvleček

The companies often assess the business success with financial results while forgetting that all the processes in the company contribute to the success. Therefore in this master’s thesis I created a user environment which assists the companies during the planning and monitoring their performance. I created the environment based on the balanced scorecard theory, which considers both, financial indicators and other non-financial aspects, such as learning and growth of the employees, internal processes in the company and the attitude towards the customers. Based on the studied literature, review of the existing tools for managing the balanced scorecard and a brain storming session in BI unit in the company B2, d.o.o., which deals with automated report production in the Power BI tool, I defined the key features which are indispensable for the user environment. Then I created the user environment, which is a combination of the application created in the Microsoft Access tool and the report, created in the Power BI tool. The user environment was used in the BI unit of the company B2, d.o.o. I found out that the created user environment is suitable for further use and that it helps planning and monitoring the business performance. There are also other possibilities of upgrading and improvements. The research should have taken a longer period of time and included more companies, but this is already beyond the scope of my master’s thesis.
