The diploma thesis titled Development and the definition of animation techniques of a 3D character for a production of animation film involves an explanation of building a system for motion control of a certain character for the purpose of animaton. The theoretical part also contains an explanation of the process of making animation, as well as the interpretation of some concepts that will be mentioned during the course of the animation production. The practical part reveals the purpose and goals of the diploma thesis. It focuses primarily on the process of producing a short animated film and describes all the stages involved in the production, which are the development of a story, a scene and a character, followed by a presentation of animation techniques in the construction of a system for controlling the movement of a character.
At the end of the diploma thesis the analysis of the rendered scenes that are included in the film is presented, as well as a critical assessment of the created content. At this point the possibilities of improving the final product are also mentioned
