The diploma thesis deals with digital storytelling in classrooms, where we devote particular attention to multimedia support to teachers and kindergarten educators. The goal of the thesis is to examine the appropriate tools and techniques of computer animation in digital storytelling. My target audiences throughout the thesis are teachers/kindergarten educators and children.
The thesis is divided into a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part gives the approaches to digital storytelling and computer animation techniques. The practical part presents the animation process. Together with the educator, we have selected learning mathematics for children in the pre-school age. The final animation was presented in the kindergarten.
